Materials must stand up to the demands of the surrounding environment, whether that means summer heat and storms, winter ice and cold, or indoor exposure to excessive heat and moisture. Size and Access

According to ASSE 1060, test cocks and valve handles must sit within 24 inches of the access opening, and hinged access panels must be restrained in the open and closed positions.
